 Academics
FVCA students develop a strong foundation in basic academic skills and become life-long learners, able to think creatively and critically while applying God's Word.

Our school environment nurtures students' academic development in a stimulating, supportive, and disciplined atmosphere. It is our goal that students form good study habits through homework requirements that supplement and reinforce classroom learning. FVCA requires parental support of school policies in order for each student to achieve academic success.

Curriculum Goals

  • Students will view the world from a Christian perspective in which all people are created by God, need a Savior, and experience a deepening, life-long relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Students will realize their unique gifts from God and identify how to use their talents and abilities to serve the body of Christ.

  • Students will grow in character, develop tools to live a Christian life, and display confidence in personal Christian convictions.

  • Students will share salvation knowledge with others, developing a love and respect for all people.

  • Students will demonstrate knowledge in basic content areas, including technology, and apply critical problem-solving in their lives. To develop these critical thinking skills, FVCA will use a variety of curriculum companies and materials. FVCA employs curriculum materials from Christian and secular publishers. Scripture will be integrated into every subject area.

  • Students will learn and implement basic social skills, cultivating an attitude of joy and thankfulness.

  • Students will project responsible, Christ-centered citizenship for the benefit of our society and the world.
