Admission/Registration Procedures

Preschool 4 students must be four by September 1st to register for the FVCA Preschool 4 program. Kindergarten children must be five and first graders six by September 1st to comply with Wisconsin regulations.

Admission Process:

1. Contact the school office to schedule a time to tour the school.
    
2. The registration fee is paid yearly. It covers payment for student record processing, testing, membership fees, curriculum costs, and most student activities such as field trips and parties.
    
   The registration fee is non-refundable, except when the results of testing or the family interview indicate the student will not be successful at FVCA. In those situations, $75.00 will be withheld to cover testing and processing expenses.
    
   Obtain an application for admission by contacting the Admissions Secretary at 920-725-7985. Complete and submit the application along with:
    
   • The non-refundable registration fee:
     Preschool 4:   $100.00
     Kindergarten Half-day (AM session only):  $200.00
     Kindergarten Full-day, Grades 1-8:  $300.00
      
   • Copies of the applicants' report cards and academic achievement tests for at least the past two years, including this year's report card for the first semester. (An application will not be considered until all tests and report cards have been received.)
      
   • Copy of birth certificate
      
   • Immunization record
      
   • If appropriate, a request for sponsorship. In addition, a separate application for sponsorship must be completed and mailed directly to the Sponsorship Committee by April 18, 2008.
      
3. The Admissions Secretary will contact applicants to schedule admissions testing.
    
4. A parent interview or conference call will be conducted by the Administrator.
    
5. Upon completion of steps 1-5, the Administrator will notify applicants by mail as to whether the student has been accepted, declined, or accepted but placed on a waiting list.
    

Non-Discrimination Policy

Fox Valley Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students at the school. FVCA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational and admissions policies, sponsorship program, or athletic and other school-administered programs.

The Academy recognizes that it cannot meet the educational needs of all children. The Academy's academic program is not designed for children with severe learning difficulties or behavioral problems.

All incoming students in grades K-8 are admitted on a 9-week probationary status.

The registration fee (minus the testing charge) is refundable only if a class position does not open.
 

Sponsorship:

FVCA is blessed to have a sponsorship program. The program is funded by donations made directly to the sponsorship fund. The Sponsorship Committee is able to allocate funds according to these donations.

If a family is in need of sponsorship, an application form must be completed and mailed directly to the attention of the Sponsorship Committee. Applications are confidential and can be requested from the FVCA office. The appropriate registration fee along with the school application and sponsorship application must be forwarded to the Committee no later than April 18th, 2008. The Sponsorship Committee meets at the end of April to allocate funds for the following year according to need.
