Volunteering Opportunities
Parents have many opportunities to play an active role in the educational experience at FVCA in the classroom, in the office, on field trips, and during special events.
Connections
Connections purposes to serve students, staff, and families through the development and
direction of volunteer opportunities and programs at Fox Valley Christian Academy. Connections
oversees the room parent program that provides a parent coordinator for each classroom.
Room parents schedule parent facilitators for the Ready Reader, Art Helper, and Story Writer
programs. Connections members also assist with hot lunch, construction projects, fundraising, and
staff appreciation events.
Starry Nights Auction
Each year, FVCA holds a silent and live auction at an offsite location. FVCA families and community members enjoy live music, delicious food, and friendly bidding. The Starry Nights Auction is our main fundraising event each year. The 2009 auction drew close to 400 guests and was the most successful so far. FVCA parents are encouraged to participate in this event both that evening and in the months leading up to the big event. There are numerous committees from which to choose depending on your areas of interest.
